Mangum Family: Family Pictures

Last Monday we got our first family pictures in over 8 1/2 years taken. My friend, Stacey Young, of Three Winks Studio took the pictures and I couldn't be happier with them. She is so much fun and such a talented photographer. She posted some of her favorites online so I am going to post some of those here. Lachlan at preschool:

Lachlan: Who is that girl?
Teacher (Addie): Her name is Alyssa

Lachlan: I think she's beautiful. (walks to girl) I love you, you're so pretty.

Me: (to Lachlan) "I love you"
Lachlan: "Mom, what's the meanest animal in the world?"
Anthony: "The devil...Satan."
Lachlan: "I love you more than Satan."
Me and Anthony: (Trying really hard not to laugh at him. I think he meant well.)

We walked into to Scoreboard Sports to get Lach his first pair of cleats and shin guards. He looked awe struck as we walked in and said "this is the most amazing place ever". He also thought shin guards were "chin" guards

We agreed to just throw the water ballons at the side of the house until Lachlan soaked me with a bowl of water. Game on! Anthony came home to find his wife and 4 year old soaking wet and laughing uncontrollably.

Anthony was wrestling on the couch with Lachlan when he started to smell something unpleasant.
Anthony: Lachlan, did you have gas when your bum was by my face?
Lachlan: Yes. (laughing)
Anthony: It’s not funny, Lachlan. How would you like it if I had gas in your face?
Lachlan: You wouldn’t do that, dad. You know better.

I just said to Lachlan "I don't know why the weather won't just stay warm", to which he answers "Heavenly Father was just kidding".

We took Lachlan to see How to Train Your Dragon today. I said " that makes me want a dragon". Then Lach said " that makes me be a Viking".

Anthony just said to Lachlan "how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck would"? Without hesitation, Lachlan answered "a lot".

So we're on our way home from the playground this evening and Lach says " I can't pedal my bike cause this stomach ache is kickin' my garbage".

Lachlan said "mom, why do you always say 'oh, Lachlan' when I do something bad". I said "I don't know". Then he answered, next time I do something naughty I'm going to say "oh, me".

Oh, Lachlan
